We are delighted to welcome Dr Rajan Rehan back to DMAHG Cardiology following completion of advanced subspecialty fellowship training at the internationally recognised Royal Brompton and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London.
Dr Rehan is an academic interventional cardiologist with advanced expertise in complex coronary intervention and structural heart disease. His clinical and research focus centres on coronary microvascular dysfunction and precision diagnostics in patients with angina and non-obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA), with a commitment to advancing evidence-based, individualised cardiovascular care.
During his fellowship training in London, Dr Rehan undertook dedicated subspecialty training in:
- Complex high-risk indicated procedures (CHIP)
- Advanced intracoronary imaging and physiological assessment
- Transcatheter structural therapies including TAVI, TEER, LAAO and PFO closure
As an early adopter of emerging technologies and evidence-based innovation, Dr Rehan brings contemporary international expertise in managing complex coronary and structural heart disease. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, has been invited faculty at major national and international cardiology meetings, and serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He remains actively involved in multidisciplinary heart team care and translational cardiovascular research.
